YOUR CLIENT
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Engineer with expertise in AWS services and Linux environments to manage and optimize high-performance Oracle database solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Oracle 19c/21c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate, along with hands-on experience in deploying and managing Oracle databases on AWS. Strong skills in Linux administration, performance tuning, security, and automation are essential for this role.
YOUR TASKS
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases (on-premise & AWS).
- Deploy and manage Oracle databases on AWS RDS, EC2, and other AWS services.
- Implement high-availability solutions using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Perform performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, SQL tuning, and partitioning strategies.
- Manage database security, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop automation scripts using PL/SQL, Python, or Shell scripting in Linux environments.
- Support ETL & data integration with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and other tools.
- Collaborate with Linux administrators and cloud engineers to ensure database stability and security
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong expertise in Oracle 19c/21c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda).
- Proficiency in Linux administration, including scripting and performance tuning.
- Good level of Communication in English
- Ready to work in a bit shifted schedule till 20pm.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Python, and Shell scripting for automation.
- Experience with database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure automation (Terraform).
- Oracle certified Professional (OCP) and AWS certification are a plus.
