THE WORK:

Lead, manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and ensuring optimal team performance
Oversee the preparation, review, and completion of indirect tax-related tasks in compliance with relevant regulations and instructions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve tax-related issues
Identify and assisting in the development of opportunities for tax process improvements and automation
Maintain relationship with the Client stakeholders and ensuring effective communication within them to address all issues and lead resolution actions

The work location for this role includes a mix of working remotely and in an Accenture office (50/50 hybrid model).

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Minimum 2+ years in accounting, preferably in BPO structures, with a tax background
Strong financial accounting knowledge and experience
Analytical mindset - ability to manage complex accounts and large data volumes
Communication andamp; collaboration - excellent written and spoken English, with good presentation skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being comfortable with navigating change
Strong teamwork skills
Self-starter attitude - independent and proactive
Experience in team management would be an asset
