We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, People Policy & Governance I to join our People Team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland - hybrid module. 

Job Purpose: This role sits within the People Team function and supports People Team employees to identify and mitigate risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in place across the EMEA region.

Job Profile: The role is an integral part of the People Governance and Internal Controls team within EMEA. This role sits within the People Team and requires collaboration with peers throughout the company to ensure effective control processes and risk mitigants are implemented to facilitate People Team & Global Impact Citizenship Management’s timely compliance with internal and external operational risk requirements in EMEA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways

  • Assist management in identifying inherent and residual risks in business processes by applying risk management concepts, providing specific information for Legal Entities of the company within EMEA.
  • Provide guidance regarding the analysis vital to fulfil operational risk requirements, and related control assessment and reporting activities.
  • As a Data Privacy Champion, provide support to EMEA People Team in regional related issues.
  • Provide management oversight and root cause analysis within EMEA People Team and help to define required control enhancements as required.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure that effective risk control processes are implemented to mitigate People Team risk exposures.
  • Maintain issue management framework for EMEA.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and team initiatives.
  • Oversight responsibility for the Collation and input of KPIs and reporting purposes.
  • Involvement with issue resolution in relation to the screening of new hires.
  • Providing People Team information for RFP requests.
  • Records Management coordinator for EMEA People Team. 
  • Business Continuity administration and coordination for EMEA People Team staff.
  • Supporting People Team staff from start to finish for periodic audits, both internal and external.
  • Reviews of policies and procedures as required.
  • Support the regulatory requirements for the European Central Bank (ECB), covering the countries within the SANV legal entities in addition to the Pre-Approval Controlled functions (PCFs) and Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR) of the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Knowledge of French language required
  • Proactive, question minded, ability to prioritise.
  • Self-motivated with Strong technical, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, Visio & project management).
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Planning and Analytical skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail is required with a risk orientated focus.
  • Flexibility to react to a changing environment and promote forward thinking.
  • Able to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Experience in writing processes and procedures.
