Salesforce DevOps Consultant


The role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce DevOps Consultant who will be responsible for implementing highly scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
You will be creating, automating and implementing improvements of the processes related to releasing of Salesforce applications. As a key member of the team, you will work with software engineers to ensure that all Salesforce platform updates transition seamlessly from development to staging to production for all Salesforce-based applications.

Your future role:

  • Operate, support and improve the tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment,
  • Deployment of new application versions between different environments,
  • Branching and merging code,
  • Management of Salesforce environments,
  • Creation and execution of a successful Salesforce deployment and environment strategy,
  • Automation of repetitive activities in the software development cycle,
  • Validation and troubleshooting of production and test environments,
  • Advising programmers on issues such as code / configuration conflicts, configuration management, working with branches,
  • Close cooperation with teams of programmers / testers / administrators in the processes related to releasing of Salesforce applications.

Apply if you have:

  • A minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position,
  • Experience working in a dynamic, cross-functional team,
  • Experience administering Salesforce org’s,
  • Experience deploying custom code, configurations and data across a Salesforce environment,
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis for merge conflicts and deployment issues independently,
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce Metadata API,
  • Experience with 1 or more tools / technologies: SFDC ANT Migration Tool, SFDC DataLoader, Salesforce DX, Azure Devops, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Maven / Gradle, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket pipelines, Copado, Autorabit,
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Unix-Like OS,
  • Basic knowledge of Scripting Language,
  • Experience with YAML,
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN),
  • Ability to speak and write English, minimum at B2 level,
  • Strong analytical thinking capabilities and creative problem-solving skills,
  • Good organisational skills with great attention to details.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of ETL tools,
  • Knowledge of code scanning tools (e.g.: PMD, CodeScan, Sonarqube),
  • Knowledge of APEX, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript,
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL,
  • Experience in CRM implementation projects,
  • Experience in IntelliJ/WebStorm with Illuminated Cloud 2 Plug or VSCode, and SonarQube and Codescan plugin,
  • Certifications in Salesforce area (Admin/PD1/App Builder),
  • Experience in Jira/Confluence or similar.
