At Smith+Nephew we are looking for: SAP Senior Solution Analyst, LRC/SD

SAP is a major strategic platform at Smith & Nephew. The company has one global instance with a Core model deployed in the major markets (US, Canada, Europe, Australia) and 3 manufacturing instances (US, Europe, China, Malaysia). The solution footprint covers Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report and Manufacturing.

Closely linked to the Sales and Distribution SAP module and processes at Smith & Nephew are Loan, Rental and Consignment processes that cover functionalities to track stock when in consignment, the build, deploy and tracking of our instrument sets and all the logistics of managing surgeries in our markets plus the ability to charge for the rental of our equipment. The module utilized is called myMediset from the company BIT Consulting and it allows us to manage medical devices supply chain inside SAP.

The SAP Senior Solution Analyst in the area of Loan, Rental and Consignment (LRC) & Sales and Distribution (SD) processes will partner with related Business Process Owners or Super Users to analyse requirements and design and deploy solutions that meet the business needs. As the ideal candidate, you have a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP solutions with good knowledge of Sales & Distribution business processes. The knowledge of MyMediset module is a plus but is not required as the successful candidate will be provided with a relevant training. Afterwards, you will be solely responsible for LRC area, but in terms of SD you will be part of a broader team.

What will you be doing?

• Collaborating with business users to understand their requirements and design MyMediset and SAP SD solutions that align with their needs
• Documenting, configuring, testing, and implementing SAP/MyMediset solutions
• Participating in enhancement initiatives and project deliveries, ensuring smooth execution
• Providing technical and troubleshooting support to our AMS provider
• Working closely with ERP Center of Excellence teams to maintain end-to-end solution consistency
• Supporting SAP/MyMediset-related projects, including requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, testing, configuration, and data conversion
• Delivering Level 2 support for live countries and assisting business users with process understanding and solution-related issues

What will you need to be successful?

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Applications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. SAP certifications and ITIL qualifications are a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, with knowledge of consignment processes being an advantage
• Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions, including data migration tasks
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes, solution documentation, and project life cycle involvement
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with globally located, culturally diverse teams
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in English, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
