
We are seeking creative and motivated individuals to further expand our Managed Services in the area of Software Asset Management (SAM). PwC SAM Managed Services offers specialized consulting and services to our national and international clients from all industries. The goal is to ensure proper and economically optimized software usage throughout the entire IT & software lifecycle.
In close coordination with our IT Consultants, Service Delivery Managers and SAM experts, you will work within our service organizations and consulting projects to support our clients with their operational and strategic license management challenges.
You will contribute to optimizing the processes and interfaces of operational software asset management operations in the course of their digitalization.
We are looking for:
Software Asset Management Administrator
Your future role:
- Processing and managing the infrastructure data inventory process (commercial and/or technical data).
- Analyzing data quality and completeness, ensuring consistency checks.
- Managing both technical and commercial article & product catalogs.
- Maintaining and updating contract and license inventories.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, defined service standards, and processes.
- Providing guidance and support to project managers and other team members regarding data-specific relations.
Apply if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in IT Software Asset Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure data formats, specifications, license and/or technical SAM inventory.
- Experience in the inventory and management of commercial or technical data within SAM tools.
- Knowledge of common software license models.
- Expertise in the use of SAM tools (e.g. Flexera, USU, Snow).
- Problem-solving and data analysis skills (focus on problem resolution, root cause analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and processes.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of Office applications (e.g., MS Excel, Alteryx).
Nice to have:
- Understanding risk management principles, experience in identifying and mitigating operational risks related to SAM data management processes & KPI.
