The ITBC team at PwC Poland is made up of 100 experts who deal extensively with merging the world of technology with the world of taxation. Our main domain is projects implementing PwC's proprietary tax reporting solution and KSeF (Taxolite), as well as projects in the area of tax requirements of ERP systems, or tax process automation. Our area of expertise also includes dedicated technology solutions for taxes. We take responsibility for major technology projects in the tax area for customers in Poland and abroad.
We are looking for:
Tax Technology Senior Consultant
Your future role:
- Improving and optimizing client internal processes related to tax reporting,
- Identifying relevant data points in client data sources
- Aiding in the selection and integration of the most suitable technology solutions, whether through ERP/EPM system enhancements or specialized add-on solutions like Longview or OneSource Tax Provisioning.
- Designing and implementing tools and processes specific to BEPS Pillar Two tax needs while collaborating closely with our global network of tax advisory and consulting teams
- Delivering cutting-edge tax technology solutions to some of the most challenging taxes.
Apply if you have:
- Minimum 2 years or relevant working experience either in accounting or technology and finance,
- You have at least basic understanding of accounting and overall tax processes,
- Knowledge of the data requirements and the associated challenges, and be able to articulate this to clients and internal stakeholders,
- Ability to discuss the different solutions and how to use ancillary technology to automate/streamline the process,
- Experience with using or implementing tax technology reporting solutions is a bonus: Avalara, Vertex, Oracle TRCS, Longview, OneSource, OneStream, Orbitax, SAP PaPm, Anaplan or similar solutions,
- Ability to bridge the gap between IT and Tax professionals tackling complex issues in a simple and understandable way,
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop innovative tax technology solutions to address them,
- Given the evolving nature of tax regulations and technology trends, the candidate should demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies,
- You are a team player who loves collaborating with people from around the world,
- Fluency in English,
- Willingness to relocate to Middle East.
