We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Fund/Client Accounting  to join our Private Equity & Credit Fund Accounting team in Alternative Operations. This role is located in Wrocław, Poland – HYBRID. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide accounting services for assigned clients and complex funds, including NAV calculation, fund performance, expense allocation and reporting.
  • Lead service improvement initiatives, process enhancements and specialist review functions for complex Fund/Client Accounting tasks.
  • Oversee and validates cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions and resolves any issues.
  • Prepare and reviews reports for clients on the performance of complex funds and answers client queries.
  • Analyse the impact of new GAAP and/or IFRS regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices and advises on implementation.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members and contributes to team objectives

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required (in fields like Fund Accounting, Accounting, Transfer Agency, Financial Reporting, Pricing, Reconciliation, Corporate Actions or Audit)
  • 5 years of total work experience preferred, fund accounting experience is desirable. 
  • Experience in people management (nice to have)
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Business English
