
Infrastructure Managed Services Team is part of Managed Services Operations in PwC Poland, complementing PwC’s Capital Projects & Infrastructure Practice offering comprehensive set of services supporting our clients in preparation, structuring and implementation of infrastructure projects & investments.
Infrastructure Managed Services encompasses full suite of services focusing on successful delivery of investment projects including infrastructure and construction projects & program management, cost controlling, risk management, schedule management, quality controlling & management, documents management, construction on-site support, project controls, contract & claim management, stakeholders management and other.
Infrastructure Managed Services Team while based in Poland focuses on servicing clients across the whole EMEA region with Poland and Germany being priority markets.
We are looking for:
Expert with German in Project Controls for Infrastructure & Construction Projects
Your future role:
- Support our clients in successful delivery of large, groundbreaking, complex & long-term infrastructure investment projects with effective construction monitoring and management services,
- Lead and manage client engagements focusing on infrastructure construction management services in the area of overall project controlling,
- Take responsibility for a comprehensive project planning, coordination, cost & budget reporting and schedule monitoring including reviews and updates the project CBS structure,
- Ensure smooth project execution and thus make a significant contribution to the project's sustainable success, through preparation and/or review of project cost and schedule baseline for infrastructure & construction projects,
- Provide support the project management team as a key player in ensuring a smooth flow of communication and information between project participants,
- Use your expertise to optimize processes and pay attention to quality assurance, risk reduction, change management and document management,
- Cooperating closely with various teams (incl. risk management, schedule management & project management) and stakeholders and ensure that our clients can implement their major construction projects successfully and efficiently in accordance with the project goals,
- Support in design and optimization of service delivery model and process flow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Apply if you have:
- Proficiency in German and English,
- Relevant engineering/financial/economic degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling and management of medium and large infrastructure and construction projects, or in a comparable controlling environment,
- Practical and hands-on work experience in the area of project controlling of infrastructure and construction projects,
- In-depth knowledge of commercial planning and control in the area of infrastructure and large-scale investments construction,
- Confidence in using industry-specific software (e.g., RIB iTWO, Primavera P6, MS Project) and key relevant MS Office products,
- Ideally, you have knowledge of relevant regulations and laws such as the AHO (German Construction Contract Procedures), VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures),
- Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders,
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously,
- Availability to travel and work in the project offices an average of three days per week.
