YOUR TASKS
- Implement and configure data catalogue solutions (e.g., Collibra, Alation) that integrate with modern data architectures, including Data Mesh and Federated Databases."
- Explore and recommend data cataloguing tools that support cloud-based data environments and can effectively manage metadata in a Data Mesh context."
- Define and enforce data cataloguing standards and best practices.
- Populate and maintain the data catalogue with metadata, data lineage, and business glossary terms.
- Train and support users on the effective use of the data catalogue.
- Collaborate with data stewards and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and accuracy within the catalogue.
- Contribute to the development of data governance processes related to data cataloguing
YOUR PROFILE
- 2-4 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with data cataloguing tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
- Understanding of metadata management principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in one or more of the preferred industries is a plus.
