
The Financial Crime Unit (FCU) Process Stream comprises over 60 members. We support clients (mostly in the financial services industry) in their operations in an increasingly challenging business environment – global economic uncertainty, ramped-up regulatory and legal requirements, as well as unprecedented operational and technological headwinds. We help clients transform their processes and operating models by implementing strategies meant to reduce operational complexity through streamlining processes, optimization of technology and efficient use of resources. As the Process Stream we help our clients re-imagine “what is possible” and build sustainable business models that can be adapted to the requirements of specific industries.
We are looking for:
Senior Process / Business Analyst
Your future role:
- Prepare and implement process change by understanding vision and strategy at the level of organization, segment and capability - predominantly within the financial services industry, but across other business domains.
- Prioritize value and recommend or adapt generic architecture building blocks to define the future state. Refine solution building blocks and target state designs by interfacing with technology teams and other team members across a variety of domains.
- Elicit, model and manage business requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project by interfacing with the right stakeholder groups.
- Perform independent research and diagnostics allowing for informed decision making e.g. process mining & measurement, value stream mapping, data analysis, flow analysis etc.
- Prepare structured artifacts: process maps at various levels of detail, impactful visualizations highlighting key findings, data-driven reports with actionable insights and business cases for various improvement initiatives.
- Participate actively in the global PwC network, e.g. by building a collaborative network with other PwC member firms in order to share knowledge and provide a global perspective for our Clients.
Apply if you have:
- Experience (4+ years) working as a Process / Business Analyst capacity at a large organization / a leading consulting firm, preferably within a regulatory-driven business domain
- Experience acting in a consulting role
- Proven track record of leading business analysis and process management / improvement initiatives, including performing gap analyses, data reconciliation / mapping, process mapping and producing executive-level summaries and action plans..
- An ability to apply Lean Management / Agile delivery methods in practice
- Proficiency in developing models using BPMN / UML standards
- A customer-centric and value-driven approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights;
- An ability to express structured, data-driven analytical thinking with a proven ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues;
- An understanding of the financial services industry (e.g. business and operating models, products and services, culture and communication style);
- Fluency in operating the MS Office 365 suite, including the ability to prepare structured & story-driven presentations and draw up procedures / technical documentation.
- An ability to act as a team player, but also an independent contributor who can manage multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Industry recognized certifications in the areas of Lean / Six Sigma, Agile, Enterprise Architecture.
- Practical knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management and project tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Server or Confluence;
- Strong understanding of data analytics and visualization: SQL / Alteryx and/ or PowerBI (or equivalents);
- Familiarity with frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, TOGAF
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and its use in process automation / improvement.
- Familiarity with basic cloud solution architecture elements and concepts.
- German language ability - at least B2 level, both spoken and written
