What this position is about - Purpose:
Provides business partnership to functional groups of operational and strategic marketing. Standardizing budgeting process across the function, ensuring information is available to subordinates and internal customers at appropriate times so that sound decisions about efficiencies and prioritization are made. Providing financial information for the Local and External Management (financial reports, budgets, presentations)
What will you do - Responsibilities:
- Supports the Commercial Finance Manager in the process of preparing annual and monthly financial budget plans for inclusion P&L and MFCF consolidation
- Develops financial plans in accordance with the guidelines and deadlines set by the regional team and Corporate Finance
- Co-ordinates month end activities for budget spends / investment (Opex, M&S, whichever is applicable)
- Reviews and develops improved process for budget planning, analysis and reporting (set up and embed a system which satisfy the different JTI financial reporting requirements and is robust enough to reflect market complexities)
- Reporting for Hedging purposes/ bi-weekly report- cooperation in line with Global Treasury Requirements
- Takes full accountability for the budgeting process
- Building professional relations and provide financial guidance / consultancy with contact persons in particular departments to effectively and efficiently manage budgets.
- Organize and lead meeting with budget owners to prepare plan submissions
- Provide financial expertise to the Marketing, G&A and Sales departments and participate in projects as required
- Evaluates and develops improved budget procedures, models and reports
- Support the financial performance of market review against the KPI's/ Budget
- Ensure senior management is provided with meaningful analysis and suggestions for alternatives or corrective actions when necessary to meet business/financial
- Coordinates the BAP / Memo process as a local coordinator and responsibility for BAP/MEMO calculation for the projects from area of responsibility
- Any other tasks that may arise due to business need
