In your role as Data Scientist with a focus on Payment Transaction Data, you will be part of a data science team, which follows the mission to support your organisation and front office with insights and professional data services in the best possible way. You contribute with your data engineering expertise that our Payment, Customer, Accounting and Revenue data can be used at the right time and in the right quality where it will add the most value.

What you will be doing? 

You will be involved in all steps in the lifecycle of our data analytics team starting with

  1. Responsible for quality of the data pipelines, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation and continuous development of our reporting and analytics processes on the Google Cloud Platform.
  2. You will be part of Data Expert Team working closely together with the Business Experts in the Business Area to help to ensure operations on the Google Cloud Platform
  3. You are able to advise and consult business as well as IT experts on functional concepts of the application and on business process or workflow optimization
  4. You will support in developing Use Cases (covering a brought range von Visualization / Reporting / Ad hoc Analysis to ML-Use Cases) based on Data provided.
  5. You will also support the design and implementation of shared services (Data Catalog, Data Quality Profiling
  6. You are one of the experts within your scrum team for all aspects of functional and business analysis aspects.

Which technology & skills are important for us?

  • Technical Business analysis ( Understanding and analyzing business requirements, gathering documentation of business requirements and design/development of functional solution IT concept. Translate those business requirement into Test data requirements)
  • Business workflow and data modeling
  • Combination of strong IT affinity and business analytics skill
  • Knowledge about regulatory reporting
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python (Understanding and ability to build queries and explain them to business users)
