PwC Poland’s Digital& - Application Development team comprises 130 people. We are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. The number of tasks we undertake is extensive: from design, building and implementation, through preparation of functional specifications and analysis of data in source systems, to the definition of business requirements, support in testing and development of mobile applications. The department provides IT consulting services, mainly to financial institutions from Poland and abroad.
Currently we are looking for:
DevOps Engineer - Middle East Projects
Your future role:
- balanced travel/remote work requirements (around 25%-75% onsite presence in the Middle East)
- building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure (ci/cd pipeline implementation),
- working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes,
- working with PowerShell, Linux Shell, testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results,
- ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats,
- identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’,
- working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
Apply if you:
- have strong and comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft SQL server, maintaining and deploying applications on Kubernetes (Helm, Ingress),
- have expert knowledge on delivering scalable, resilient and automated builds in local and cloud environments using Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus, Ansible for high-quality data pipelines,
- have expertise and practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code approach (Terraform is preferred),
- possess detailed knowledge and experience in working with networking components, protocols and security (e.g. Subnets, Firewalls, Routing, DNS, http, TLS/SSL, etc.),
- know patch and vulnerabilities remediation processes and frameworks,
- have expert knowledge on patching and upgrading of different platforms (security vulnerabilities like SSL and TLS shortcomings, certificates and cipher strengths),
- know patch & vulnerability management (including automation of these processes),
- understand vulnerability scanning using tools like Veracode, Gradar, Qualys or Similar,
- possess practical experience with Azure (preferred), AWS Google Cloud,
- know scripts to automate day-to-day tasks,
- experience: 2-3 years.
