Java Developer in Digital& team (freelance)
Location: Warsaw / Remote
Our team in the Digital& department conducts IT projects mainly for the financial sector in Poland and abroad.
As part of the global PwC network, we provide services in the full life-span of software production, such as: analysis and development of functional specifications, data analysis in source systems, defining business requirements, design, development, and post-implementation maintenance of IT systems dedicated to support modern business processes, support in UAT end user tests.
As part of the Digital& department you will have the opportunity to apply business and technical knowledge in practice with the support of the best experts in a given field.
Your future role:
- Development, testing and maintenance of components based on Java technology,
- Creating technical documentation - analysis of customer needs,
- Cooperation with analysts and architects on detailing the design assumptions,
- Responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of entrusted projects,
- Willingness to solve problems that arise during the projects implementation,
- Provision of consultancy and cooperation with PwC's internal and external team.
Apply if you have:
- Very good knowledge of Java programming confirmed by commercial experience,
- Good knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks,
- Good knowledge of XML and related technologies,
- Good knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL,
- Knowledge of software building tools (Maven, Docker, Git) and testing (JUnit, Mockito),
- Knowledge of popular and used programming frameworks and patterns design,
- The ability to create and read technical documentation using UML,
- Ability to think analytically and create solutions based on Java components,
- Knowledge of the English language sufficiently to enable communication with clients and other members of the project team,
- Oracle certified professional certificates are welcome.
