Junior/Specialist Fund Accountant in Fund Accounting Department

As a member of NAV Production & Control Team, you will be responsible for daily NAV calculation and control activities, in particular:

• Transaction processing/control
• Control of fund expenses and corporate events
• Reconciliation of cash, securities and derivatives positions
• Valuation of funds’ assets
• Working with management companies, asset managers and clearing house, etc.
• Investigation and resolving of fund accounting process discrepancies

Requirements for Junior Fund Accountant:

• Good command of English (at least B2)
• General knowledge about accounting principles / financial instruments / capital markets
• Eager to learn
• Motivated and engaged
• Good analytical/numerical skills and strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Accountability
• Good PC literacy, esp. MS Office (Excel)

Requirements for Specialist Fund Accountant:

• Good command of English (at least B2)
• Previous experience in financial institution preferably fund industry
• Good understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives)
• Understanding of bookkeeping principles and (fund) accounting
• Good understanding of various Corporate Actions
• Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters will be an advantage
• Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Accountability and client servicing mindset
• Motivated and engaged
• Good PC literacy, esp. MS Office (Excel)
