What are the ongoing responsibilities of Senior Analyst - CRD Investment Rule Management?
We are seeking a dedicated System Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting the FT Investment Compliance teams by providing technical expertise on compliance rules and leveraging the trading system (Charles River) as your primary tool. You will also play a key role in developing and enhancing solutions to improve current processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support Compliance teams: Collaborate with them to understand requests and provide business system support,
- Set up business restrictions and update existing ones to ensure compliance,
- Configure necessary resources (lists, calculations, etc.) required to implement requested compliance rules,
- Identify and suggest improvements to meet business needs,
- Engaged in projects, including optimizing the existing rule universe in the system and assisting in the transition to a new system Aladdin.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
- Practical experience with Charles River as a plus,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve both simple and complex issues,
- Ability to apply logical thinking to meet business needs effectively,
- Knowledge of the investment management industry, including a solid understanding of financial markets and instruments,
- Prefer familiarity with various business or database tools (SQL, Alteryx),
- Solid verbal and written English,
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
