We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager I to join our Global Institutional Accounting team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Leading a team of accounting analysts and ensuring exceptional service delivery for assigned clients and portfolios. Team responsibilities include handling exceptions, calculating net asset value, and providing comprehensive reporting.
  • Recruiting, directing, motivating, and developing staff, optimizing their individual contributions, fostering professional growth, and promoting effective teamwork among colleagues.
  • Assisting Group Manager in identifying and streamlining business operations, which will include enhancing controls by standardizing relevant business processes, overseeing and monitoring activities to ensure quality and accuracy of data, and supporting key business programs that will drive greater operational efficiencies and superior client service. 
  • Collaborating with supervisors and managers of other groups within the firm to evaluate issues and devise improvement strategies. 
  • Serving as a high-level escalation point for complex situations and ensuring that they are resolved successfully.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum 5 years of total experience within similar area).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. At least 1 year of experience in people management required.
  • Previous work experience in Banking Operations or similar area (FA, Reconciliation, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of economy, financial markets and accounting.
  • Analytical skills with a proven track record of working with comprehensive financial/numerical data. Experience working with large and complex databases and an ability to understand how they function/interact will be preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills (English min. B2/C1 level).
