YOUR ROLE

As part of that foundation, we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Plant Simulation Engineer to develop advanced virtual simulation platforms for the next generation of manufacturing and production systems. This role involves creating plant simulation models, toolchains, and methodologies for process optimization, integrating simulation across open and closed-loop testing scenarios, and deploying solutions across various domains. You'll work on enhancing efficiency and flexibility from the early design phase through final deployment, driving innovation in the digital manufacturing.

YOUR TASKS

You will be part of a global engineering organization with a cutting-edge, agile-driven culture. If you have a proactive quality mindset and a simulation-driven approach from day one, you are the right candidate. We are looking for a highly motivated Plant Simulation Engineer to collaborate closely with development, production, and test engineers within agile teams, from the conceptual design phase through to validation. This new approach to plant simulation starts on day one, focusing not only on simulating implementations and requirements but also on challenging design and process workflows in the earliest phase.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 2-4 years of experience developing virtual test platforms (MIL, SIL, HIL) in automotive applications  
  • Experience with virtualization, cosimulation and system integration toolchain (i.e. dSPACE, ETAS, QTronic Silver, VVirtualTarget, Model.CONNECT, VDK, Siemens etc.) 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methods   
  • Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK 
  • Thorough understanding of embedded software development (C, C++), AUTOSAR software architecture, auto code generation process and tools and experience with software such as Visual Basic, Python, VBnet 
  • Knowledge of CAN and analysis tools   
  • Familiarity with SW version control   
  • Exposure to machine/ deep learning algorithms 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix platform issues and systems focused  
  • Good understanding of ECU architecture and usage of SW emulators and/ or SW debuggers  
  • Good understanding of ECU Level vehicle features in at least one domain  
  • Experience in one scripting language or test automation tool 
  • University degree
