About the project

Technology Consulting team works with some of the world’s best-known large domestic and global financial institutions, broker-dealers, foreign banking organizations, asset management and insurance companies. You will play a key role in providing exceptional subject matter expertise and solving complex problems to make a difference for our Clients. Colleagues and Clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you’ll be a high-profile contact, when it comes to resolving complex issues, strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers, capabilities; and key business and initiatives. You’ll act as a credible advisor, influencing Clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. You will operate in a complex, cloud-architectural landscape and will be responsible for driving changes in existing systems and creation of new systems to provide a world class client expertise. We are looking for candidates who will strengthen our Data Technology Team in Poland. We’re interested in professionals wiling to develop in Data & Analytics area, with a genuine interest to contribute to the growth of the Data capability.

Your responsibilities

  • Designing data management strategies and processes in an organization,

  • Designing and building systems and solutions leveraging various public Clouds components & tools,
  • Designing, building, and orchestrating data pipelines from multiple sources into the enterprise data lake and support modeling the data for use in the enterprise semantic layer,
  • Designing and building new functionalities and solutions to client use cases,
  • Designing and building data platforms,
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert for Testers, Developers and Business Users in the area of Data solution functionality,
  • Defining and estimating scope of work needed for implementation of business architecture,
  • Leading project and program development team,
  • Performing analysis of functional and business requirements, developing user stories, and designing solutions,
  • Collaborating with team members,
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Clients and key stakeholders,
  • Supporting in the growth of our Data competency,
  • Supporting sales initiatives,

Our requirements

  • Ability to design and document data architecture, governance and management processes,
  • Ability to analyze and document data structures and transformations,
  • Strong English language skills for both verbal and written communication,
  • Willingness to develop in Data & Analytics space,
  • Excellent communication skills in order to interact with a range of stakeholders,
  • Ability to plan, track and report the status of the deliverables,
  • At least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, computer science or a related field,
  • Design & implementation experience with distributed applications and systems,
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with architecting solutions on Cloud Platforms,
  • Experience with on-premise to cloud migrations or IT transformations,
  • Experience in data modeling,
  • Experience in working in Agile methodology,
  • Experience in large, international Data solution implantation programmes,
  • Experience in finance / insurance industry,
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence or Azure DevOps or similar work tracking tools,
  • Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality concepts and standards,
  • Knowledge of Azure, or GCP, or AWS cloud platforms,
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake,
  • Technical knowledge in programming, scripting and related standards (eg. Python, bash).
