For our Client, a manufacturing company that is part of a large international corporation in the chemical industry, we are looking for candidates for the position of Financial Controller. The person in this position will be responsible for the company's finances and controlling in Poland. The company's headquarters is located in Krakow.
Financial Controller
Requirements
- min. 5 years of experience in the area of financial controlling or auditing,
- preferred experience in international companies or in BIG4 auditing,
- detailed knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards,
- practical knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP),
- fluent knowledge of English,
- strong analytical and communication skills,
- combined with a good understanding of business and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- preparation of the annual budget, forecast and analysis of variances,
- responsibility for statutory and accounting in the CEE region,
- analysis of financial indicators, profitability levels and production processes,
- recommending cost savings in cooperation with business department leaders,
- preparation of analyses and documentation for financial institutions,
- direct cooperation with external auditors,
- participation in the implementation of SAP S4/HANA at the organizational level in Poland in cooperation with the headquarters,
- support for local teams in business development.
