Infrastructure Managed Services Team is part of Managed Services Operations in PwC Poland, complementing PwC’s Capital Projects & Infrastructure Practice offering comprehensive set of services supporting our clients in preparation, structuring and implementation of infrastructure projects & investments.
Infrastructure Managed Services encompasses full suite of services focusing on successful delivery of investment projects including infrastructure and construction projects & program management, cost controlling, risk management, schedule management, quality controlling & management, documents management, construction on-site support, project controls, contract & claim management, stakeholders management and other.
Infrastructure Managed Services Team while based in Poland focuses on servicing clients across the whole EMEA region with Poland and Germany being priority markets.
We are looking for:
Manager | Risk Management in Infrastructure Managed Services
Your future role:
- Lead and manage client engagements focusing on infrastructure construction management services covering primarily cost controlling, schedule management, risk management & project management for infrastructure investments,
- Cooperating closely with various teams and stakeholders and ensure that our clients can implement their major construction projects successfully and efficiently in accordance with the project goals,
- Coordinate and manage a team of infrastructure construction experts and support development and expansion of the team,
- Comprehensive project planning and coordination, budgeting and timeline monitoring,
- Coordination of processes and ensuring efficient reporting, creating, tracking and controlling projects delivery,
- Continuous monitoring of quality and cost efficiency in service delivery based on SLAs and KPIs, supporting design and optimisation of Service Delivery Model and process flow,
- Organising and effectively managing work of the team of experts, cooperating with, supporting & overseeing team members work ensuring timely, high quality delivery including cost controlling, schedule, documents, risk and project management for infrastructure & construction projects, especially proactively managing:
- delivery of cost controlling activities, including preparation of baseline cost budget, carrying out appropriate analyses (plan/target/actual) and developing measures and recommendations for action for project management with the stakeholders
- delivery of risk management activities, including risk planning and management, development of risk assessment & evaluation of risk impact on schedules / costs (incl. conducting relevant analysis, e.g. Monte Carlo, Root Cause) and preparation of risk mitigation plans
Apply if you have:
- Relevant engineering degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in controlling and management of medium and large infrastructure projects, or in a comparable environment
- Practical work experience in the area of cost controlling, scheduling of construction projects or construction project management and risk management in construction
- In-depth knowledge of commercial planning and control in the area of infrastructure and large-scale investments construction
- Confidence in using industry-specific software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, EcoSys, RIB iTWO, risk management software) and key relevant MS Office products
- Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in English
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in German will be considered a strong plus (however, not a necessary requirement).
