Requirements
- minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll operations,
- strong knowledge of Swiss tax, social security, and labor law,
- fluency in German and English (C1 level, both written and verbal),
- commercial training or a degree in business-related studies,
- experience in working with international teams and external providers,
- proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel,
- strong numerical skills, problem-solving abilities, and independent work approach,
- knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- collaborate with an external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance, and issue resolution,
- manage payroll accounting in line with legal and internal regulations,
- maintain and optimize payroll systems, ensuring high data quality and compliance,
- work closely with internal teams and shared service centers, such as the payroll accounting team,
- administer expat payroll in collaboration with external partners,
- support monthly closing processes and HR audits,
- handle long-term absence cases and sick leave processes,
- prepare employment documents, including contracts, HR letters, and references,
- act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and HR-related inquiries.
