Process Associate ITP

We're seeking dynamic financial specialists to join our Smith & Nephew ITP Team. The ideal candidate will take the lead in the Invoices to Pay payment process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely resolution of payment-related queries. Responsibilities encompass swift resolution of vendor queries, conducting vendor statement reconciliations, and engaging in ad-hoc analysis. This role goes beyond routine tasks, involving active support in implementing improvement opportunities and fostering relationships across the Smith & Nephew business.
What will you be doing?
- Resolving vendors and internal customer queries promptly and accurately (SCC).
- Ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards in the payment process.
- Verifying invoice compliance with accounting, tax, legal rules, and customer standards.
- Assisting in month-end closing, engaging in PEC activities within internal deadlines.
- Actively contributing to process improvement projects for enhanced efficiency.
What will you need to be successful?
- Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in accounting, preferably Accounts Payable and proficiency with accounting system- SAP and Ariba.
- Nice to have: Experience in an international environment (SSC, GBS).
- Fluency in English.
- Communicative knowledge of Spanish and Italian
- Attention to details, strong and accurate data entry skills, ability to work under pressure with excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
