Process Associate ITP

We're seeking dynamic financial specialists to join our Smith & Nephew ITP Team. The ideal candidate will take the lead in the Invoices to Pay payment process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely resolution of payment-related queries. Responsibilities encompass swift resolution of vendor queries, conducting vendor statement reconciliations, and engaging in ad-hoc analysis. This role goes beyond routine tasks, involving active support in implementing improvement opportunities and fostering relationships across the Smith & Nephew business.

What will you be doing?

• Resolving vendors and internal customer queries promptly and accurately (SCC).
• Ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards in the payment process.
• Verifying invoice compliance with accounting, tax, legal rules, and customer standards.
• Assisting in month-end closing, engaging in PEC activities within internal deadlines.
• Actively contributing to process improvement projects for enhanced efficiency.

What will you need to be successful?

• Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in accounting, preferably Accounts Payable and proficiency with accounting  system- SAP and Ariba.
• Nice to have: Experience in an international environment (SSC, GBS).
• Fluency in English.
• Communicative knowledge of Spanish and Italian
• Attention to details, strong and accurate data entry skills, ability to work under pressure with excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
