Our client offers an exciting array of future-forward careers at the intersection of business, finance, and technology. They are one of the world's top asset management and banking firms that manages trillions of dollars in assets, custody and/or administration. Known as the “bank of banks” - 97% of the world’s top banks work with us as we lead and serve our customers into the new era of digital.

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our team in the modernization of a pivotal accounting system that is instrumental in shaping the financial landscape. This role involves designing and developing scalable build cloud systems using internal cloud.

YOUR TASKS

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the development process

YOUR PROFILE

• 1.5+ years of proven experience in Java development
• Experience with Java 17 and Spring framework, Maven/Gradle
• Experience with database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
• Understanding of messaging technologies (JMS)
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in English
• Visiting the client's office 2-3 times per week

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Docker and monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics
• Experience with private cloud infrastructure (VMs or containers)
