The Financial Crime Unit (FCU) Process Stream comprises over 60 members. We support clients (mostly in the financial services industry) in their operations in an increasingly challenging business environment – global economic uncertainty, ramped-up regulatory and legal requirements, as well as unprecedented operational and technological headwinds. We help clients transform their processes and operating models by implementing strategies meant to reduce operational complexity through streamlining processes, optimization of technology and efficient use of resources. As the Process Stream we help our clients re-imagine “what is possible” and build sustainable business models that can be adapted to the requirements of specific industries.

We are looking for:

Business Analysis Senior Manager


Your future role:

  • Lead a team of Business Analysts and oversee workstreams focused on software implementation, process improvement, and business analysis domains.
  • Acting as a product owner for strategic Pwc platform used internally and externally by our clients, defining a product vision that would maximize value to the stakeholders
  • Participate in product development and optimization within Scrum framework,
  • Create and maintain a roadmap for product, aligned with business goals and customer needs, followed by prioritization of tasks and backlog management, including tracking and monitoring progress across all development stages
  • Independently collaborate with clients, leading teams of business analysts during software implementation projects, while managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and client stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication across all functional areas to understand their needs and translate into clear business requirements.
  • Provide valuable insights and cost estimations to support project scoping, planning, and budgeting.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams including DMS Product Development, Quality Assurance, Technology, and Robotic Process Automation.
  • Contribute to customer-facing teams, ensuring overall success in sales processes and implementation projects.
  • Challenge the status quo by utilizing a fact-based, objective mindset, both with clients and internally to optimize our ways of working.
     

Apply if you have:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the financial services area, including work with Product Backlog and implementing new products and features.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management (both waterfall and agile), Business Analysis, or Consulting roles focused on technology and process optimization.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with software technology.
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience in SCRUM and Agile development frameworks.
  • Understanding of IT development processes and systems architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management principles.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
  • Experience in Process optimization and management in various industries, AML/KYC domain knowledge is an additional advantage.
  • Exceptional verbal, public speaking, and written communication skills, with a knack for documenting results effectively.
  • Proven ability to provide clear, concise instructions, simplify complex concepts, and maintain a professional presentation style.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills essential for day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team.
  • Positive attitude towards cooperation and group work in an international environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and excel under pressure.
  • Track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Experience in working with business and technical teams, defining requirements, and establishing testing strategies.
  • Business literacy and the ability to comprehend organizational processes and dynamics, including transformation and change management.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English (German language skills would be a plus).
  • Education & Certification:
    • Higher degree in Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Operational Research, or a related field.
    • Product Management and Product Owner certification.
