Senior C#/.NET (with React) Engineer

About the client:
Out client is transforming into a SaaS company. To support this transformation, they defined multiple key initiatives to focus on the cloud business. One of these key initiatives for the Medium Segment is to release a Medium Payroll Platform and localize it for multiple markets. To drive success of this platform, a full new Development Team will be established. The Senior Software Engineer will form part of this team, which is responsible for the Core Product/Platform.
Your future tasks:
- Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of software development to the completion of difficult assignments.
- Successfully develop, deliver, and maintain high quality software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
- Work with engineering managers early on to shape product definition so that it can be built in a flexible, extensible, and robust way
- Evaluates progress and results and recommends major changes in procedures.
- Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
- Work cross-functionally with various development teams over the client ecosystem)
Our Requirements:
- 5+years of commercial experience with C#/.NET
- REST API / Web API
- Entity Framework or similar
- Microsoft SQL Server
- React, JSON, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3 and SCSS
- Innovative and creative thinking
- Understanding and experience with REST API
- A technology expert in their field.
- Complex problem-solving ability. Innovative and creative thinking.
- Ability to interpret and/or gather user requirements and translate these into technical specifications and/or code
- Proficient with several relevant programming languages, frameworks, and databases
- Experience in implementing Architecture Best Practices and Patterns.
- Proven Track record of creating API-first products
- A rapid ‘pick up and learn approach’ that will ensure valuable contribution to any team within days of joining the team
- Very good in spoken and written English
