Requirements

• manage and oversee the local accounting team, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations,
• supervise daily accounting operations, including period closings, financial reporting, and cost control,
• develop and implement robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the company’s operational needs,
• prepare and review financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., IFRS),
• collaborate with external advisors to handle tax matters, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks,
• support internal and external audits by coordinating with auditors and ensuring smooth processes,
• identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in accounting operations,
• lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• minimum of 5 years of experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within the FMCG or related industry,
• strong knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations,
• proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams,
• analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving,
• familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and an aptitude for leveraging technology to improve efficiency,
• communicative knowledge of English (both spoken and written).
