We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President I, to join our Trustee and Depositary Services team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland – HYBRID

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Utilize Investment Compliance system daily including coding regulatory and prospectus restrictions, onboarding new funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Collaborate with Trustee & Depositary teams across EMEA region and conduct ongoing analysis of investment restrictions and provide recommendations for rule coding optimization
  • Investigate all issues related to Investment Compliance function and other internally administered systems used within Trustee and Depositary Services
  • Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements, data strategy and deliver data solutions
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements and migrations ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, providing feedback to improve the user experience
  • Engage in projects related to the Trustee & Depositary department, document each project comprehensively, and ensure all relevant supporting documentation is in place prior to implementation
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and SLAs
  • Identify areas for improvement and work with the teams to implement process enhancements.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the investment funds industry
  • Proven experience in product-based roles within complex, enterprise, security services, custody, or trustee and depositary environments Candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies
  • Attention to detail, good interpersonal and organizational skills in a dynamic driven environment
  • Candidate should be flexible, willing to challenge the status quo and able to adapt to a changing environment 
  • Prior experience with rule coding and/or support in systems such as Charles River, MIG21, Aladdin, Sentinel, ALTO is highly advantageous
  • Experience in Investment Compliance area is strong advantage
  • Proficiency in programming is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD regulations is highly beneficial
  • Familiarity with at least one relational database (such as SQL, Oracle or MS Access) is desired.
