Our Independence Compliance team provides guidance on all areas of PwC’s independence policy and the regulatory environment. As part of the team, you’ll provide updates on Independence and regulatory rules and will evaluate new client opportunities based on PwC’s compliance policies and procedures.

CEE Independence Office Consultant


Your future role:

As an Independence Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that PwC’s audit engagements comply with the firm’s independence policies and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with partners and staff in the entire Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to identify and resolve independence issues, provide guidance on independence matters, and conduct independence training. You will also be responsible for performing personal independence compliance testing (PICT) and have an opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects.

Apply if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Fluent English (in speaking and writing),

  • Abilitto work independently and as part of a team,

  • Ability to analyze laws and regulations,

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the international corporate environment,

  • Experience in audit, compliance, process improvement and/or understanding of financial market and products offered to retail investors will be an asset.
