Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region. 

We are looking for:

Experienced Team Leader

Your future role:

  • Independently lead a team of 10-15 accountants - monitor and manage the workload (efficient utilization of the resources) and daily operations of the team,
  • Ensuring timely delivery of quantity and quality KPIs inside the team,
  • Setting up targets for the team,
  • Monitoring targets achievement and act on potential breaches, escalating operational issues affecting the supervised team,
  • Ensuring all policies, procedures and guidelines are followed by team members,
  • Taking active role in development, recruitment and retention of people (cooperation with dedicated HC Teams),
  • Share knowledge and best practises within the team and with other TLs and Experts,
  • Coaching and motivating the team,
  • Fostering high performing culture and PwC values.

Apply if you have:

  • Proven 3+ years of functional experience in operational role in AP/AR/GL area,
  • 2-3 years of experience in people management role,
  • Performance management skills (i.e. using right motivation tools to reach goals and invest in relations with others – keeping right balance),
  • Ability to provide feedback to the team members on behavior, performance and quality of deliverables,
  • Excellent organization of work and priority setting,
  • Strong communication skills coaching skills, presentation skills – including client communication (using relevant arguments, assertiveness, emotional intelligence, building a clear structure of communication),
  • Higher Education - University Degree (degree in accounting, finance, economics as an asset).

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in English and one of the other European languages (f.ex. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese),
  • Knowledge about IFRS or Polish GAAP standards.
