YOUR PROJECT
Capgemini Group Procurement is looking for French and English-speaking Strategic Buyer for its brand-new and exciting Engineering Projects (EP) category focusing on sourcing activities within the engineering world, quotation & contract management as well as supplier performance.
The Engineering Projects Category aims to deliver quality support, especially for the Capgemini Engineering business line, for both internal and resale activities, concerning hardware and services delivered from third parties. We support businesses operating in multiple sectors such as automotive, prototyping, semiconductors&electronics ,military, connectivity, nuclear, pharma-medical, aircraft, space, healthcare/pharmaceutical, industrial, defence, naval, railway, robotics&automation, engineering services and more.
YOUR TASKS
- Providing sourcing activities within the Engineering Projects Procurement Category in regards to the European scope
- Building the new Procurement Engineering category with high decision impact
- Strategic supplier relationships and delivery alignment
- Driving compliance to contracts and cost optimization through saving initiatives
- Leading bids (e.g., Sourcing RFP's and Client Bid supports), contracting and performance improvements
- Building internal and external network for an efficient project and business support
- Driving adoption of procurement policies and processes
- Working closely with global teams: Finance, Legal, GDPR, Cybersecurity, Procurement Operational Back Office, Group IT
- Extending your existing knowledge and act as subject matter expert for the supported country and scope
- Working with and being supported by an international team of Engineering Buyers
YOUR PROFILE
Preferable 1-2+ years of Sourcing experience in Procurement
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French
- An engineer's degree or technical background is considered an additional asset but not required
- Good knowledge of MS Office package, including MS Excel
- Experience with ERP systems and P2P process understanding
- Interest in the Engineering supply market and developments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, eager to develop negotiation skills
