For our Client, a large Polish manufacturing and trading company operating in an international environment, we are looking for a candidate for an independent Finance Manager position. The main tasks of the person in this position will include full financial support of a holding company located in Western Europe in cooperation with the CFO and General Manager. The company's headquarters is located in Krakow.
Finance Manager
Requirements:
- minimum 6 years of experience in finance, analysis, or planning roles,
- strong expertise in management reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting,
- previous experience as Financial Controller or Finance Manager with budget responsibility, would be an asset,
- experience with modern BI tools and MS Excel,
- knowledge of budgeting, KPI management, and ERP systems,
- fluency in English and basic Polish language skills.
Responsibilities:
- oversee and improve Business and Management Controlling processes in a foreign holding company,
- act as a Finance Manager to foreign subsidiary - prepare budget and planning,
- prepare and present financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash-flow reports) to the Board of Directors in Poland,
- analyze financial data and past performance, offering actionable recommendations,
- support local Financial Director in reviewing operations and verifying financial forecasts,
- evaluate new business projects, especially investment opportunities, and assess their profitability,
- collaborate with treasury, purchasing, and logistics teams to monitor working capital,
- ensure accuracy in ERP systems and assist in budget planning.
