YOUR ROLE

We transform applications into more modern approach, like microservices and introduce green field ideas by choosing best technology and architectural stack. Hundreds of our employees explore broad financial world creating new payment solutions, trading platforms, systems for financial risk calculations or banknote transport optimization. We also have the opportunity to implement innovative Big Data platforms and blockchain technology.

YOUR TASKS

• Database Monitoring and Health Checks;
• Troubleshoot database performance issue and suggest improvements;
• Managing database users on Oracle RDS and PostgreSQL RDS;
• Update Oracle database configuration and/or content to support a new release of the application;
• Working with Oracle Databases hosted on-prem, Oracle Cloud (OCI), or AWS RDS instances;
• Participate into "Root Cause" Analysis for Application/Database related issues;
• Provisioning and Decommissioning databases on on-prem, OCI and AWS;
• Deployment in the Test and Production environment under the control of change management;
• Identifying and communicating database features that would like to see available for use;
• Capacity planning in terms of resources for processing, Network and Storage;
• Basic database Administration tasks;
• Supporting request from Developers and Business users;
• Query Performance: analyzing slow-running queries, optimize them as needed, Checking performance indicators;
• Understanding business needs to estimate databases compute, storage and network resources and reconfigure them appropriately;
• User Management, Identifying and Resolving Blocking sessions problem, Connectivity issues, User requests, Performance management, etc;
• Helping developers to write efficient queries and Helping business users to be able to query required data;
• Participate in OnCall shift.

YOUR PROFILE

• Good understanding of Oracle database architecture, RAC cluster, Exadata, Various Performance Tuning aspects in Oracle;
• Good knowledge of Oracle database, AWS and Oracle Cloud Certified;
• New database features for latest database releases;
• Understanding of different ITIL Processes, Basic Understanding of PL/SQL;
• Understanding of Terraform, and Gitlab CI/CD pipeline.

• Performance Tuning tools AWR, ASH, ADDM reports, etc;
