Pricing and Rebate Team Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts. Each day, you will support the ABB group management and other stakeholders at various organization levels in decision making processes. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in the evaluation of the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment decisions.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Controlling & Planning Team Leader in USA region EL business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring timely and accurate Global Price reporting
• Delivering advanced Pricing analytics, measurements and developing tools and dashboards
• Playing a key role as a financial partner for Pricing and Commercial Finance Team, being a key point of contact to clarify on the respective area
• Executing accruals, settlements and reconciliation of whole rebate portfolio: Volume Incentive Discounts, Merchandising Found, Retails Rebates, Cash Discounts
• Providing related Plans, Forecast/QMI, Reporting
• Maintaining and developing Vistex & others systems
• Operating effectively in project environment
• Leveraging various reporting, database, models, tools to report financials
• Operating effectively in project environment, transition of new scope
• Optimizing own performance to increase productivity, recommending changes of process standards and procedures, identifying areas for process or report You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration
• You have at least 5 years of experience in Controlling and/or Pricing and Rebates
• You are experienced in month-end closing activities
• You possess advanced Excel skills and experience while working with SAP
• Knowledge and practice with Power BI is nice to have
• You present analytical and communication skills, diligence, pay attention to details, demonstrate high sense of ownership and time management skills
• You are able to prioritize tasks, work effectively in a team environment and under pressure, propose improvements in processes, understand the processes from the content and technical perspective
• You are at ease communicating in English
• You hold current VISA/work permit valid in Poland
