The FCU Technology team at PwC Polska includes over 100 IT specialists. The financial services industry operates in a challenging environment due to global economic pressures, increasing regulatory and capital requirements, and significant operational and technological changes. As FCU Technology, we provide innovative technological solutions, data analytics and consulting services for global PwC clients, responding to key challenges in the area of Anti Financial Crime (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA and implementation of financial sanctions, etc.).
As a Product Owner t, you’ll work as part of a cross-functional Technology team with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our Clients and project teams solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. In this role, we need a person who can balance working with senior stakeholders, agile development teams and testers, risk and quality specialists and vendors to understand and organize the prioritization of work in a way that aligns with organizational timelines.

We are looking for: 

Product Owner/ Functional Architect 

Your future role: 

  • Acting as a product owner for strategic Pwc platform used internally and externally by our clients,
  • Defining a product vision that would bring the greatest value to the customer,
  • Creating and maintaining a product roadmap for product, aligned with business goals and customer needs,
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements,
  • Identifying solutions based on proven best practices or new approaches,
  • Preparing and documenting clear and comprehensive requirements,
  • Prioritizing tasks and managing product backlog, including management of internal and external stakeholders expectations,
  • Product development and optimization of its value using Scrum framework,
  • Tracking and monitoring the product progress at each stage of the development,
  • Representing a team in front of stakeholders, clients or users,
  • Coordination and synchronization of work of feature owners, business analysts.

Apply if you have:

  • At least 8 years professional experience in the role of Product Owner and work with Product Backlog in the financial services area, as well experience in implementing new products and features,
  • Experience in working with business and technical teams, defining requirements, establishing,
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience in working in SCRUM,
  • Experience with testing strategies  and leading the full life cycle delivery of projects,
  • Understanding of IT development process and systems architecture,
  • Higher degree (preferred Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Operational Research or related),
  • Very good communication skills in English (C1),
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills - essential in day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team,
  • The ability to cooperate with others on the implementation of tasks in an international environment.
  • Product Management certification,
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies,
  • AML/KYC domain knowledge (one of the key areas the platform is focusing on) is an additional advantage.
