YOUR TASKS

• Create applications for the financial industry in the Pre and/or Post trade area for one of our Capital Markets clients, actively taking care of its development throughout its entire life cycle, based on microservice architecture created in C++, Linux
• Programming of financial data feeds in an agile environment. Work with high volume of data such as Market data, Market Risk Data, Reference data etc.
• Integrate with electronic markets such as: Tradeweb, Bloomberg or Aladdin using industry standards such as FIX protocol
• Analyze vendor specific financial data (market, reference and news data)
• Improve unit test coverage in the system using TDD methodology
• Test and check data for compliance and quality during the development phase
• Maintain and update technical specification documentation and prepare change requests
• Incident management - 3rd level support for our business critical data collection system
• Implement and enhance software in OTC and Exchange traded instruments such as: Interest Rates
• Work as a member of our international team using agile methodologies and professional software development processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Basic C and C++ development skills
• C++ BOOST test framework
• Basic experience with Linux systems (Bash),
• Familiarity with Perl or Python and CI/CD (git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)
• Basic knowledge of computer science, e.g. algorithms and data structures
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of financial information an advantage
• Requirements engineering knowledge
• Practical ability to work in the UNIX environment.
• Knowledge and interest in financial markets
