About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in the insurance domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of insurance industry practices and solutions. Experience working with insurance customers is highly desirable, and familiarity with insurance software platforms such as Sapiens, DuckCreek, EIS, or Guidewire is a significant advantage.

Your future tasks:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions tailored to the needs of insurance clients.
• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Utilize industry best practices and standards to deliver high-quality code and maintain code integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the insurance industry to inform decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development.
• Understanding of insurance industry practices, processes, and terminology.

Technical skills required:

• Java
• Spring/Spring Boot (incl. Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud)
• MicroService Architecture 
• DevOps: Jenkins, Kubernetes
• REST APIs

Good to have:

• Frontend Development with Angular and TypeScript
• AWS Cloud, Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK-Stack
• Git
• E2E Frontend Testing with Cypress or Playwright
• Jira, Confluence
• Pair programming
• German speaking skills
