The Financial Crime Unit (FCU) Process Stream comprises of over 60 members. We support clients (mostly in the financial services industry) in their operations in an increasingly challenging business environment – global economic uncertainty, ramped-up regulatory and legal requirements, as well as unprecedented operational and technological headwinds. We help clients transform their processes and operating models by implementing strategies meant to reduce operational complexity through streamlining processes, optimization of technology and efficient use of resources. As the Process Stream we help our clients re-imagine “what is possible” and build sustainable business models that can be adapted to the requirements of specific industries.

We are looking for:

Business Analysis Senior Specialist

Your future role:

  • Acting as a key contributor to the delivery of Client engagements or internal initiatives by performing business analysis to identify potential gaps and process inefficiencies;
  • Defining business requirements and user stories for technical solutions delivered by our development team;
  • Participation in and facilitation of sprint planning, backlog refinement, increment value delivery and sprint reviews & retrospectives;
  • Designing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase;
  • Engaging with the Client and your team to develop an understanding of the Client’s operating model, processes, data architecture and and supporting technology solutions;
  • Supporting development of customized technology solutions linking business needs and technology capabilities;
  • Active participation in the global PwC network, e.g. by building a collaborative network with other PwC member firms in order to share knowledge and provide a global perspective for our Clients;
  • Investing in the development of others through mentoring and coaching, e.g. recognising others’ strengths and development areas, as well as helping them to realize their full potential in a positive and supportive environment.

Apply if you have:

  • Have previous experience (4+ years), preferably in the financial services industry, business operations, Financial Crime Compliance or a leading consulting firm (experience in acting in the capacity of Business Analyst would be an advantage);
  • Proven ability to engage in business analysis, including performing gap analyses, data reconciliation / mapping, process mapping and producing executive-level summaries
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights;
  • Express structured, data-driven analytical thinking with a proven ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues;
  • Have a solid understanding of the financial services industry (e.g. business and operating models, products and services, culture and communication style);
  • Have proficient knowledge of MS Offices and Google Workspace, including the ability to prepare structured & story-driven presentations;
  • Are able to act as a team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Successful completion of Process Academy development program organized by Financial Crime Unit;
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Scrum, Agile, TOGAF;
  • Practical knowledge of tools such as ADO, JIRA or Confluence;
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and visualization: SQL and/ or PowerBI (or equivalents);
  • Working knowledge of BPMN / UML;
  • Cloud certificates (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) to demonstrate familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
