Smith+Nephew is hiring Market & Commercial Excellence Sr Analyst

The Commercial Excellence Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the go to market strategy through optimizing commercial processes within S+N for the DACH & UKINOR region.

You are responsible for analyzing market and integrating it with sales data, providing insights and reporting to key stakeholders, and supporting strategies to improve performance and efficiency.

What will you be doing?

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (market, competitors and internal S+N data) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales activities to improve performance and increase efficiency
  • Partner with our internal cross functional team to mitigate commercial and financial risk and own reporting of key metrics to stakeholders
  • Support in the process of customer segmentation and targeting via analytics and profiling
  • Own the geomapping program to continuously optimize sales rep territory design based on market insights
  • Drive field sales coverage optimization and conduct costs & effectiveness analyses incl. local field benchmarking
  • Support in ad-hoc strategic projects across the region, applying commercial best practices

What will you need to be successful?

  • Approximately 2-5 years of experience in a commercial or financial role (healthcare industry is a plus)
  • Skilled in MS office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (PowerBI a plus)
  • Experience with CRM applications (Salesforce experience is benefitial)
  • Fluent in business English (German would be a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the creativity to solve challenging problems in an ever changing and complex market environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive “team player” attitude
