About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded individual who thrives on continuous learning and making a tangible impact on business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of curiosity and openness, coupled with a proven track record in delivering advisory and transformational projects. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with C-level stakeholders, take responsibility for development of innovative organizational strategies and driving the successful execution of transformation projects across all phases, from initial strategy formulation to full-scale implementation.
In this role, you will assume leadership of the Program Management Office (PMO), overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure that programs and projects align with organizational goals and requirements. You will implement and provide guidance related to PMO processes and policies, oversees the work of project management staff, support less-experienced colleagues, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
Your future tasks:
- Lead and manage the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring the effective delivery of programs and projects in alignment with organizational objectives
- Take part in innovative transformation projects across various industry sectors and with multiple geography involved
- Develop and implement PMO processes, standards, and best practices to optimize project management efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to project management staff, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
- Conduct presentations and workshops, present results and actively help shape solutions for our clients
- Collaborate with C-level stakeholders to develop and refine organizational strategies, leveraging insights from transformation projects to drive innovation and business growth
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying risks and opportunities and implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes
Our Requirements:
- At least 4 years proven project/product management and/or consultancy background with experience in managing/leading team, previous acting as a project manager or coordinator
- Experience as People Manager that is responsible for team development and growth. Sales experience is a plus
- Fluency in German and English languages preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal contexts
- Strong stakeholders’ management skill
- Ability to translate complex technical aspects into business language
- Team-player attitude with exceptional leadership and communications skills appreciating international client-facing activities (travelling across Europe might be required)
- Comfortable working in complex, continuously moving environment with confidence and minimum guidance
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement
- At least 3+ years’ experience in using JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps or any other project management tools
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices. Any related certification is a plus
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to gather, understand and define clearly business requirements
- Expertise in at least one business domain (banking, finance, automotive, manufacturing, life science, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
